How to Tie a Long Necklace
- 1). Tie a knot into each end of the necklace. These will become the handles when you pull them for adjusting.
- 2). Lay the ends down flat next to each other. Place them opposite, with one end pointing down and the other pointing up. These two ends of the necklace will be the filler cords.
- 3). Cut a separate strand of string. Use it to tie a square knot around the two necklace ends. Tie a series of three square knots.
- 4). Tie a tight overhand knot on the underside of the square knot. Place a dab of super glue on the knot. Allow it to dry completely. Trim the ends of the knotting cord.
